As I’ve stated on numerous occasions, I can’t write to music. That doesn’t mean, however, that music doesn’t affect my writing. Often a certain song will inspire a scene, a character, and maybe even a beat or an entire plot thread. During the course of drafting I’m usually collecting songs that represent certain bits of the book I’m writing.
And when that happens, you get something fun – a soundtrack!
To avoid spoilers I’m not labeling the scenes in which the song appears, and I’m sure it’ll get longer as I continue working on revisions. Eventually I’ll make a separate page for the soundtrack with a list of scenes that go with the songs. But for right now, this is what I’ve got. Enjoy!
